The Steico multi CAP Weather Protection Membrane is an innovative, fully self-adhesive airtight and weatherproof membrane designed specifically for modern timber construction. Whether used for roofs, ceilings, or walls, it is ideally suited for both prefabrication and on-site installation.
This three-layer functional membrane offers outstanding tear resistance and flexibility. Notably, its central functional layer is enclosed on both sides by a durable polypropylene fiber fleece (PP fleece), which significantly enhances its lifespan. Additionally, the self-adhesive backing not only reduces installation time but also minimizes potential errors during mounting. As a result, it ensures a strong and reliable bond to wooden surfaces without the need for additional fasteners.
Moreover, the membrane provides both airtight sealing and high vapor permeability (sD-value 0.20 m), meeting essential building physics requirements.
