STEICO Zell is an ecological blow-in insulation made from natural wood fibers. It is perfect for insulating closed cavities in roofs, walls, and ceilings. Moreover, it can be openly applied to vaulted ceilings and top floors. Whether you are building new or renovating, this solution ensures excellent results.
You apply the material by blowing it under high pressure into cavities. It adjusts exactly to the surrounding surfaces and even fills difficult shapes and spaces around installations. As a result, you get a seamless and effective insulation layer—without extra manual effort.
In winter, STEICO Zell keeps the warmth inside. In summer, it protects against overheating. Additionally, it remains dimensionally stable and does not settle, even after many years. ETA 12/0011 certification and Fire Class E (DIN EN 13501-1) guarantee high safety and performance.
Technical highlights:
-
Thermal conductivity: 0.038 W/mK
-
Recommended density: 35–45 kg/m³ (ceiling, wall, roof)
-
Open blowing: installation thickness = nominal + 20% (approx. 32 kg/m³)
-
Estimation for material: 40 kg/m³ or 2.5–3.0 bags/m³
-
Packaging: 1 unit = 15 kg (pallet = 21 bags)
The material is processed using professional blowing machines. Flexible hoses make it easy to apply the insulation directly on-site.
What’s more, the wood fibers come from sustainable PEFC-certified forests. Even years later, you can vacuum out the material and reuse it—without losing form or function.
