STEICO multi Tape black is a high-performance adhesive tape designed for airtight and windproof sealing in both interior and protected exterior applications. With its black, plasterable fleece surface, it blends discreetly into construction elements and meets modern energy-efficiency standards.
Thanks to its UV stability for up to 6 months, you can apply it even before the final façade cladding is in place. The tape features a solvent-free acrylic dispersion adhesive that bonds strongly to most building materials. Moreover, the split release liner simplifies installation, especially around corners, edges, and complex details.
To ensure proper adhesion, always apply the tape to dry, dust-free, and stable surfaces. When working with wood fiberboards, we recommend using STEICO multi Primer for best results. After removing the release liner, press the tape firmly into place—preferably using a pressure roller. The bonding surface should be at least 50 mm wide when applied to wood fiber insulation.
Additionally, STEICO multi Tape black handles extreme conditions with ease. It performs reliably from -40 °C to +100 °C and can be applied at temperatures as low as -10 °C. Its durable fleece layer is not only over-plasterable but also highly resistant to aging, making it ideal for long-term use.
You can choose between two widths: 70 mm and 140 mm, with each roll offering 25 meters of length. For larger projects, bulk cartons are available with 8 rolls (70 mm) or 4 rolls (140 mm). Individual rolls can be purchased as needed.
To complete your airtight building envelope, combine STEICO multi Tape black with STEICO multi connect adhesive and STEICO multi UDB membranes. Together, they form a professional, moisture-resistant system that supports healthy, energy-efficient construction.
